HIV Medicine. ACHIEVEMENTS: I have devoted most of my career to the treatment of viral hepatitis and HIV infection. I am deeply involved in clinical research for these diseases. I have been asked to advise scientists on the creation of new study concepts, present study results at international conferences, and have subsequently published papers in major medical journals including the New England Journal of Medicine and JAMA, among many others. I understand the complex scientific and social aspects of the diseases I treat and I am dedicated to helping my patients succeed in their battle against viral hepatitis and HIV.
